BitcoinOnly about half the millionaires in the world are in agreement with the wealth management companies, and the very rich are increasingly interested in investing in cryptocurrencies. This is clear from a study by the French consulting group Capgemini.

People with a high net worth – like those with at least 1 million USD in investment, excluding their home, or their possessions of fine arts and cars, had a return of about 20% in 2017 for the second consecutive year. Thus, their total wealth has reached 70 trillion USD for the first time, with expectations for it to be 100 trillion USD by 2025, says the Capgemini World Wealth Report.

Despite the increase in their status, this did not make them more satisfied with the companies managing their funds.

Only about 56% of the millionaires said they maintain a “very good” relationship with them, with 70% needed according to the consultancy agency.

It is clear from the data that in the past year the investment of the rich people in cryptocurrencies has grown, with 29% of the millionaires expressing a strong interest in buying or possessing such payments. At the same time, nearly 27% said they had some interest.

However, only one-third reported that they had received information about such opportunities from their companies.

“While regulatory uncertainty and the caution of companies to prevent cryptocurrencies from entering the wealth management industry, the strong demand for information on cripples by younger people with high net worth is likely to force wealth management companies at least to develop and offer a point of view in the coming months”, said the report.
